3A :
I am extremely disappointed by today's behavior in class. Please study the list of "short a" "long a" and "short e" and "long e" sounds. NOTICE THE SOUND DIFFERENCE!
3B:
DID VERY WELL WITH RECOGNIZING THE SOUNDS! We did an exercise in class where students had to write a mixture of words in their notebooks. They had to draw a circle around the word if the word had a "short a" sound, a triangle around the word if it had a "long a" vowel, a square if it had a "short e" sound and finally a cloud around a word that had the "long e" sound.
Long A : rain, day, say, bay, lay, May, crayon, tame, cake
Long E: meet, deep, sheep, monkey, speed, me, he, she, bee
Short A: cat, hat, pat, dad, jack, maggie, cap
Short E: pen, pencil, well, fell, pet, beg, rest
Please study this list!
